My personal response to this, is to refuse to purchase any more books, by this author. As I have written before, I feel that author’s who constantly publish incomplete novels (with Cliffhangers), in order to coherence fans to purchase (For their apparent financial gain) more incomplete novels, are taking advantage of those who support their very livelyhood. It is necessary to listen/read to, at least, the first book of the, “Alphs’s Control”, series for an explanation of the bizarre ending of this book. Consumers have to purchase one or two overpriced 5-6 hour books to know what happens to Shepherd and his mate. The author’s notes lead consumers to believe that this is a complete trilogy it is not. I don’t want to give too much away but, the apparent ending, is deceiving. Also, listens/readers need to be aware that the end of this trilogy is NOT THE CONCLUSION OF THIS COUPLE’s story.

It was well written but I always want some simblance of a happy ending. Had I known I would have never started it. I was so disappointed that this trilogy ended the way it did. There is no HEA and the story is incomplete!

If such material offends you, please do not purchase. Though situations may be interpreted as romantic, this is a story about the effect of extreme circumstances on the human psyche and the consequences of obsession - not a standard romance. Some scenes are written to be disturbing. Publisher's note: Reborn is a dark Omegaverse tale with explicit sexual themes and complete power exchange. Real war is on their doorstep, and unless the Alpha tyrant is willing to pay the ultimate price, everything he has sacrificed will have been for nothing. Thólos is coming apart at the seams, and Shepherd's men can do nothing to stop it. Claire is desperate to open his eyes, but no matter her progress, Svana is not yet done with him. Claire can see the source of madness that drives Shepherd to do such terrible things: Svana. She can feel the truth of his terrible history. Under its influence, she is forced to sense the man behind the monster. Due to her mate's relentless exploitation of their pair-bond, the nature of their link has grown consuming to the point that Claire has difficulty differentiating where her feelings begin and his end. Her time is occupied fighting a war of another kind. Locked safely away in Shepherd's nest, Claire is unaware of what stirs aboveground.
